Mr. Thurane Aung @ Christopher Aung

After returning from the United Kingdom studying, BA (Hons) in Business Information Management and Finance from University of Westminster, he joined the family business in 2002. He worked his way up by learning the business from bottom up as a Project Manager on constructions sites. His ability to navigate the steep learning curve to understand and shared the vision of Dagon Group landed him as a CEO of the Group in 2015. The main focus of Thurane Aung’s role and responsible is for Business strategies and expansion plans for all of Dagon Group’s businesses. He has experienced and completed several new businesses set up within the Dagon Group as well as negotiating for new joint ventures with several Japanese MNCs. He also contribute much of his time for the development of the different business sectors he is in by joining the Executive Member of Myanmar Young Entrepreneur Association (MYEA). He is also Project Director of the Myanmar Thilawa SEZ Holdings company and Vice President of the Myanmar Japan Development Company Limited and Director of Myanmar Agro Exchange Public Limited.
